What is this?

Etch AI Control Setup is a ready-to-use Claude Code skill that wires up an AI agent
to your Etch builder. Once installed, you simply tell the AI what you want —
“build a two-column hero from this screenshot”, “add a 3-card section”,
“change this heading” — and it builds it on your real Etch page, following your existing
classes and design system.

It does the tedious setup for you: it creates the browser launch script, the Playwright MCP
configuration, and the context file the AI needs — all from a single command
(/setup-etch-mcp).

💡 The AI styles your work inside Etch’s Style Manager, so everything stays editable in
the builder — not as detached, orphaned CSS.

How to install it — step by step

You can read this before buying so you know exactly what to expect.

  1. Make sure you meet the requirements above (Claude Code, WordPress + Etch 1.5+, Chrome,
    Node.js).

  2. Buy & download the package (a small .zip).

  3. Unzip it anywhere on your computer.

  4. Install the skill — the easy way: open Claude Code and paste this prompt:

“Install this Claude Code skill for me: copy the folder <PATH>/skill/setup-etch-mcp into my global skills folder at ~/.claude/skills/. Then tell me to restart Claude Code.”

  1. Restart Claude Code so it loads the new skill.

sites.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know how to code?
No. You only need to be comfortable with basic WordPress, running one script, and prompting
Claude Code.

Does it work on a live/remote site, or only local?
Both. Chrome runs on your computer and connects to your site whether it’s local or hosted on
a server.

Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Yes. The package includes launch scripts for both Windows (PowerShell) and Mac/Linux.

Is Claude Code included?
No. Claude Code is a separate product by Anthropic with its own pricing. You need it
installed to use this skill.

Is the Etch plugin or Automatic.css included?
No. You must already have Etch v1.5.0+ installed and active. ACSS is optional but supported.

Will it change my website?
Yes — that’s the point. The AI edits your real Etch pages. Always keep a backup and review
changes before saving.

Is my data safe? Do you store my passwords?
The tool uses your own already-logged-in browser session. Your WordPress credentials are
never stored or sent to OUTWP.

Is there a refund or guarantee?
No. The product is sold as is, with no warranty, and all sales are final.

Can I use it on multiple sites?
Yes — you can use it on as many of your own projects as you like. You may not resell or

What if it breaks something on my site?
